Why choose acuity care
For Carers
Addressing the balance of care for carers and their loved-ones
Caring for a loved-one with complex needs can be an all-consuming process. At acuity care, we know that care provision doesn’t just impact the lives of those who directly receive it – it can be life changing for the people around them too. Our teams work with both the people we support and their loved ones to find the packages that suit their lives and needs.
How we work:

Seamlessly Integrated Care Provision
We believe that care should be shaped around an individual – not the other way around. At acuity care, our teams work directly with people to build care packages around individual goals and needs. The prospect of needing carers and support workers can be daunting, but our approach allows care delivery to become a natural and empowering process. This allows you and your loved-one to feel more in control and relieves the pressure of full time care delivery – allowing you to live a more flexible lifestyle with greater freedom.
Consistent Care For the Long-Term Journey
Our care teams aren’t just short-term stop gaps. We recruit all our care teams on an individual basis and we review their progress throughout your care journey. We believe that good care is built on trust and strong relationships and we understand how important that consistency is for successful care delivery. Many of our support workers have been caring for the same individuals for years, building genuine and reliable connections that allows both them and the people who care for them to thrive.

Going the Extra Mile – Provision Beyond Care
At acuity care, we believe that successful delivery is more than just the direct care your loved one needs. We work with the people we support to set long-term goals and objectives, focusing on their personal desires and what they want to achieve. We’ve supported many people to take part in activities that previously have felt unattainable.
From surfing after long-term injuries to wheelchair dancing and holidays away from home. Whatever you and your loved-one want to achieve, our team can help make it happen.

Personalised Care team Recruitment for every person we support
Strong connections are at the heart of every care success story. Care teams have to be a good fit and we ensure this by recruiting care teams from the ground up for every person we support.
We recruit not just based on your care needs – but on your long term goals, aspirations and personality too. We regularly host assessment sessions, where you can come and find the right fit for you.
